Naomi’s Inn is a story of urban renewal, elegant interior design and one mother’s desire to provide a relaxed and comforting environment at a moment’s notices from Baystate Medical Center. Our mission is to meet the needs of people traveling to receive care and/or provide emotional/physical support to a loved one that is hospitalized.

We are located directly across the street from the main campus of Baystate Medical.

Naomi’s Inn was designed to offer guests a comfortable, home-like setting that is close to the hospital (three minutes walking to bedside). Our goal is to provide a feeling of comfort and reassurance during what may be one of the most difficult times for families with sick or injured relatives and friends in the hospital.

Due to complications at birth, my daughter Naomi spent the first three months of her life in a Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Because of the seriousness of her condition, I was afraid to leave her and lived in fear of not being present at a critical moment. I spent many nights sleeping in a chair at her bedside.

The nearest hotel room was several miles away and always felt impersonal and lonely. I was worried about money, laundry, transportation and meals. My greatest fear was not getting back to the hospital in time if something should happen.

Since that experience, I have wanted to build a safe place that meets the specific needs of families with loved ones in the hospital.

I built, fought for, and continue to run Naomi’s Inn with that end goal in mind.
